Services and Boarding

Boarding

Dog boarding

Dogs are boarded in 3ft x 6ft runs.  Small dogs are boarded in large cages when runs are full.  We also have 6ft x 6ft runs for very large dogs or pets boarding together.
We take a personal approach to boarding.  Dogs are walked at least twice daily in our fenced back yard.  Each pet is walked by an individual who gives them undivided attention, with no more then 2 pets in the yard at a time.  Stool, appetite, and cleanliness are monitored and recorded daily.  Doctors check these records daily.
We feed Hills Science Diet adult food.  Please bring your pets' food if they are on a special diet, have any dietary restrictions, or if you prefer their diet stay constant.

Cat boarding

Cats are boarded in large cages in a separate area from the dogs.
They are housed with food, water, a litter box, and blankets/towels.  We provide Hills Science Diet dry and canned food for pets.   You are welcome to bring the food your pet is used to for us to feed during their stay.
Feel free to bring any toys or things from home to stay with your pet.

Well and vaccine visits
Preventive care is important in the health and longevity of your pets.  Annual visits are highly recommended.  Early detection of disease can allow earlier awareness and intervention, if needed.

Sick visits
Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are always welcome, especially if your pet requires immediate care.  Please don't ever hesitate to come in if your pet needs care.  As a courtesy to our appointments, we do see appointments before walk-ins unless a pet presents with urgent needs, requiring immediate attention.

Surgery
Routine surgeries are performed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  We welcome both routine and more advanced surgeries.  We do require a pre surgical visit for all new patients.  This allows us time to meet you and your pet, to go through previous records (if applicable), and perform a physical exam to address any concerns prior to the day of surgery.

Laboratory diagnostics
We perform routine fecal and blood tests for parasites to keep you and your pet healthy.  Blood panels can also aid in the diagnosis of some conditions, as well as alerting us to any health concerns prior to anesthesia or other procedures.
